Equine Careers – Marketing Case Study

Project Overview:

Services: Social Media Management

Objective: Increase brand awareness and reassert market positioning

Began working together: July 2021

Who are Equine Careers

Equine Careers are an award winning, market leading recruitment agency and jobs board specialising in office and field based roles in the equestrian industry. They work with some of the biggest names in their sector to fill job vacancies with the best people.

Our work together:

When Emma from Equine Careers approached us to work together on her social media, I knew right away the fit would be perfect. Having been in the equestrian industry for many years, I already had an affinity with Equine Careers and actually secured my first job on leaving University through them, so it just felt right.

We discussed how we could help to raise brand awareness, increase follower numbers and reassert their market position as new businesses cropped up to challenge them.

From the very beginning Emma has been a pleasure to work with, exploring all the new options and techniques we’ve put in front of her. She’s embraced video and together we’ve slowly but surely built both her Facebook and Instagram pages, which has helped secure business as we emerged from the Pandemic.

Business slowed dramatically for Equine Careers during the pandemic, and Emma was very keen to pick things back up again, to help people realise what unique services she has on offer. Since then the social media pages and the business have gone from strength to strength, having some of the best months ever. They have secured connections with dream clients to work with them exclusively.

During our time working together we’ve also welcomed collaborations with some of the biggest brands in the equine industry with our Story Takeovers showing a day in the life of one of their employees. This initiative was really well received by Equine Careers’s audience and is still receiving views since saving to highlights on Instagram.

As we go forward, our work focuses on ensuring that people in the equestrian industry know that Equine Careers is the place to go if they’re interested in office or field based job roles. Providing insight and advice regularly along with highlighting current vacancies in a variety of formats serves the audience well.

Your Website is not for You

I know what you’re thinking - but it’s my website?!  Yes it is your website, but that doesn’t mean it’s for you!  Your website is there for your customers and clients, and while that sounds straightforward, the key is optimising it for them so they can get the most...

Blogging for My Business – Why do I need it?

When I mention starting a blog to small business owners the reply is usually along the lines of ‘but why do I need one?’, ‘That sounds like a lot of work’ or ‘I’m not a blogger’. So, I wanted to explain how a blog can be hugely beneficial to you and your business...
